How do I know which method is right for me?
Every journey starts with a consultation. Your stylist will assess your hair density, texture, lifestyle, and goals before recommending any method. There is no guessing here.
Can I color my hair with extensions in?
Yes! Your stylist can work around your wefts or bonds. Extensions can also be glossed or slightly deepened to better match your evolving color.
Will extensions damage my hair?
Our methods are extremely safe when applied and maintained correctly. We keep a close eye on new extension guests and do regular health checks at every re-install.
Can I swim or work out with extensions?
Yes — wet your extensions first, secure them in a neat braid or bun, and rinse promptly after swimming. IBE is especially great for active lifestyles.
How often do I need to come in?
IBE re-installs every 5–8 weeks. Great Lengths every 3–5 months. Hair Toppers vary. Your stylist will build your maintenance schedule from day one.
Do you offer services for hair loss or thinning?
Yes — we now offer hair topper consultations, scalp health assessments, and a postpartum extension program. Book a hair loss consultation to get started.
Where is the hair sourced from?
IBE hair is sourced from high quality ethical sources in Asia and Europe. Great Lengths uses exclusively ethical, traceable Indian Temple hair — the gold standard in the industry.
What products do I need at home?
Extension-friendly, sulfate-free products are essential. We'll pair you with OAK Hair Care products specifically chosen for your method and hair type at your appointment.
